1. Information we collect

We collect account information, organization and jobsite details, uploaded photos and documents, captions, tags, location metadata, device information, access logs, support messages, and product usage events.

2. Photos, location, and field metadata

Ditch is built around jobsite evidence. Photos may include GPS coordinates, timestamps, filenames, camera metadata, annotations, and AI-generated labels or summaries. You control which jobsites and users can access that content.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, process uploads, map and organize jobsite records, generate AI-assisted search and answers, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide support, and communicate about the product.

4. AI processing

We may process photos, documents, captions, and metadata with AI systems to generate tags, summaries, searchable fields, and answers. We use this processing to operate Ditch for your workspace and to improve product quality where allowed.

5. Sharing

We share information with service providers that help operate Ditch, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, email, mobile build, and AI infrastructure. We may also share information when required by law or to protect Ditch, users, or the public.

6. Your choices

Workspace owners can manage members, jobsite access, invite links, and shared albums. You can request help updating or deleting account information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where needed for security, legal, billing, backup, or operational reasons.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect Ditch data, including authenticated access controls and operational monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security, so use strong passwords and keep invites limited to authorized users.

8. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, support customer workspaces, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. Retention periods may vary by plan, content type, and workspace settings.

9. Jobsite content

Ditch is a jobsite documentation app. Images or content that we determine to be inappropriate, unlawful, or unrelated to legitimate jobsite use may be removed and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities or service providers.
